We are looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team! We offer a Christian environment, flexible schedule, competitive salary and a great team to work alongside. If you are interested or know someone that might be, please submit CV/Resume to: manager.clownpeds@gmail.com

We wanted to give all of our patients and families a little update on how we are working to keep you safe. Effective Monday, August 17th we have implemented some additional changes to our office.

These efforts these include:

-Sanitizing our building, door knobs, entrance, exits, waiting room and exam rooms with an electrostatic sprayer.

-Sanitizing every exam room after each patient. This was being done, but now with the electrostatic sprayer.

-Rooms are assigned based on well visits or sick visits to reduce potential exposure.

-We will begin verifying information and making next well visit appointments when we confirm your appointments on the phone to minimize time at the check in window.

-We will begin collecting co-payments or account balance payments at check in when you arrive.

-We will begin checking patients out in the room for well visits. Sick visits will be checked out after your visit is complete automatically. This will prevent people from having to line up at the check out window.

-We will utilize our main entrance for all patients and sick patients may exit through the middle door.

-When you arrive you will be sent straight to your exam room. If you are early or there is no exam room available, you may wait in the waiting room. We have re configured the waiting room to allow more social distancing. You may also wait in your car if you like and we will call you when a room is ready.

All of these changes are being made to limit exposure to other patient’s as much as possible while in our office, and keep everyone safe. We do ask that everyone wear their masks as well. We believe these efforts will help keep everyone safe while allowing you to get the care you need.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your family!

At Clown Pediatrics, we have a heart for missions! So this year we started featuring a monthly mission focus that our staff members submit. We collect money for casual dress Friday’s, other employee donations and send what we collect to our monthly mission organization. Recently, we decided to start sharing each month’s focus with you so you could learn more about these great organizations. In the future, we hope to have opportunities for you and your family to participate occasionally as well. For April and May we selected Midwest Food Bank as they are helping so many during this difficult time.

Thanks for allowing us to care for your family!

Patients and Families,

In an effort to serve our patients and families effectively, we have decided to implement the following changes to help bring peace of mind and minimize exposure for our staff and you.  We are changing the patient flow within our office effective Monday, April 27, 2020 until further notice.

We will begin splitting the office into 2 separate sections using a physical barrier to separate the office creating 2 different workflows and areas for sick visit patients versus well visit patients.

This will include implementing the following:

Sick Visit Patients

  • Patients will enter and exit through the middle door on the south side of the building.  This will be marked with signage as Sick Visit Patient Entrance.
  • Patients will follow directional signs and check in at the current check out windows.
  • Once checked in, patients will be directed to their exam room.
  • The nurse will meet patients in the room for weight and vitals, etc,.
  • Once the visit is complete, patients will return to the check-out area, check out, and then exit through the same door they entered.

Well Visit Patients

  • Patients will enter and exit through the regular entrance.  This will be marked with signage as Well Visit Patient Entrance.
  • Patients will check in at the current check in window.
  • Once checked in, patients will be directed to their exam room.
  • The nurse will meet patients in the room for weight and vitals, etc,.
  • Once the visit is complete, patients will return to the waiting room checkin window, check out, and then exit through the same door they entered.

Additionally, when scheduling or confirming patient appointments, we are asking and/orcommunicating the following:

  • Has the patient or a family member been exposed to someone with the COVID virus?
  • Does the patient or a family member have a cough or fever?
  • We ask that only 1 person attends the appointment with the patient.  BUT, well checks for patients under 12 months old may have both parents if they want.
  • No siblings should attend the visit if possible.
  • We have implemented Televisits to handle some office visits.  You must be on the patient portal to join these, so contact the office if you have yet to engage our portal or the Healow app from your phone.
  • When scheduling a Televisit, please keep in mind that providers are also seeing patients in the office and could run behind.  If patients have been waiting for a provider to join their Televisit for 15 minutes, please call our office so we can assist.

Thanks for your patience through this difficult time, and please remember God is in control and we will get through this by His grace!

It is our privilege to provide care for your family!

Dr. Jeremy Roscoe and the Clown Pediatrics Team

In an effort to reduce concerns with well visits and the risk of being exposed to the COVID-19 virus, we have restructured scheduling to have well visits in the early part of the day and sick visits in the later part of the day.

If you would like more info on the COVID-19 virus please visit the CDC’s website at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html or the Indiana State Board of Health at: https://www.in.gov/coronavirus/

Clown Peds can now do circumcisions in our office! We will begin doing them at the 1 week check with Dr. Roscoe. So you have the option of having your OB or the Hospitalist do it in the hospital or waiting to do it in the office!

We use the Gomco clamp and Lidocaine to numb things. We ask that you bring a receiving blanket to wrap them in during the procedure and a pacifier with some formula or breast milk to give during the procedure.

If you have any questions, please let us know.
